Biography
I was born in Mallorca in 1989, the only child of an island that, from an early age, pushed me to imagine, to move, to create. My energy and creativity were hard to contain, and that intensity shaped the way I exist in the world from very early on.
For years I devoted myself to sport. I became a high-performance kayaker, training with discipline every day, in direct contact with the sea. Crohn's disease forced me to stop sooner than expected. And although at first it felt like a loss, in time I understood that it was also an opportunity.
That change opened me up to other languages. I taught myself to play the piano and the guitar, like someone who needs to express themselves from another place.
In 2020 I moved to the Can Buc estate, and that was a turning point. I turned that place into my home and my studio. There, surrounded by earth and silence, I began to paint.
After a while, I took my paintings to the Consell market. Every Sunday, thousands of people walked past my work, and something began to move: art was reaching out to the public. It was in that open, popular space that my painting started to circulate, to spark encounters, to become part of other lives.
Today I continue along that path, knowing that every stage has left a mark on what I paint: the perseverance of sport, the sensitivity of music, the eye of the communicator and, above all, the deep connection with the sea, which remains at the centre of everything.
My creative process
Living to paint, painting to live
Inspiration
The moment when everything I have lived —the sea, the emotions, the memories— comes together without order or logic to form something new. Like a current running through me, I give shape to that totum revolutum in which I still don't know what I will paint, but I know I need to do it. Everything begins from that deep, inexplicable impulse.
Colour and direct emotion
Creation
I paint without fear of mistakes. Each "wave" of colour reflects my state in that moment. I don't try to control it, but to let emotion decide the course. Painting happens the way the sea happens: unpredictable, alive, direct.
To exhibit and to expose oneself
Feedback
Sharing what I paint is part of the process. Listening to you, talking, feeling your gaze transforms what I do. I paint from within myself, but when I show my work it takes on meaning in relation to others. To exhibit is not only to show, it is to let oneself be seen.
