Art in Llucmajor

For its inauguration, the gallery presents a group exhibition that brings together the work of ten Mallorcan artists or artists with ties to the island. The selection does not respond to a single trend or a closed manifesto, but rather to the conviction that the contemporary Mallorcan art scene has its own plural and high-quality voice that deserves to be seen and recognized.

The exhibition encompasses a diversity of techniques—oil, watercolor, wax crayons, pastels—and pictorial languages ranging from the most lyrical landscape painting to contemporary figuration, including abstract impressionism, alongside bronze sculptures by Pere Pujol and a selection of Mallorcan antiques. What unites these works is not the style, but the gaze: an intense and personal relationship with the territory, light, and nature that define the experience of living in Mallorca.
