About the artist

Pere Pujol (Artà, 1934 – Manacor, 2001), Mallorca's great costumbrista sculptor. Self-taught, he immortalized farmers, traditional trades, and characters from folk tales in terracotta and bronze; his work is displayed in the ArtArtà museum and Es Baluard.

Editing and Authenticity

Unique piece: the mold was destroyed after casting.
